Story
Cameron Davis is a 24 year old visionary artist and live painter based in Louisville, Kentucky. he has always been a creative-minded person, ever since he was very young. Early on, creativity was his way of navigating and understanding this reality, Cameron saw it as a language that was more powerful than words. Cameron knew since he was very young that he always wanted to do some form of art but wasn’t sure exactly what. In earlier years Cameron invented video game concepts and all kinds of random ideas just to release the creativity but it wasn't until later that he learned to utilize and balance his creative energy through his practices. When Cameron started his second year of Highschool he felt called to push himself in developing skills as an artist, so he started painting and or drawing almost everyday. After graduating from Highschool, Cameron started his college journey wanting to get a Graphic Design Degree. Eventually he got approved to be in the 2D painting program at the University Of Louisville and that was quite the learning experience. However he found that the University system only made him extremely depressed and frustrated with himself. Cameron went to school for 5 semesters and one day hit him that he didn’t even want a fancy degree, Cameron wanted to create his own happiness and school wasn’t doing that or giving him an encouraging or fulfilling vision he felt connected with. So in early 2021, Cameron made the life-altering decision to quit going to college, take life into his own hands, and start his own brand out of his art called Infinite Horizon.
The first month or so of making this decision was very nerve racking for Cameron, but he learned how to grow out of the old programming and expand his understanding, Infinite Horizon is an experimental arts and design brand that Cameron passionately adding more life and light to each day. From Cameron's point of view, it is a way of teaching himself how to develop skills while figuring out what he wants to do with them and how he can use his platform to help others in dark places in life. Cameron really doesn't know what the future holds for this, but he knows it will be magically. He acknowledges is that it is an evolving process as well as an incredible tool for him to inspire others to follow their own creative path.
The goal for Infinite Horizon is to create an empowering experience for the individual, to inspire them to look within and follow their true path to help them help themselves with the healing powers of enjoying and creating art. It is no doubt that we live in an age of mass deception, lies are cherished and truths are frowned upon. At the same time, all lies have an expiration date, and Cameron sees the darkness in the world as just a larger reason for more light to be on the planet. Here is a quote from Cameron about the times we live in:
"So many look outward for reassurance, wondering why they always find themselves pointing the finger. Every time we point a finger at someone else we also point 3 back at ourselves. We create our own problems with how we view the world (or with how we let others paint the world for us). I believe that from a social standpoint, far too few listen to their intuitive inner voice, but I do not think it is hopeless. I think now is an incredibly hopeful opportunity to evolve ourselves and become self-reliant, we just have to express to one another that we can create hope and embrace miracles we deserve. It is the artists who control the society and this goes beyond paintings, I am taking about media influencers, advertisements, journalists, article writers, actors, etc. These mainstream narrative artists who run the show right now are completely making a mockery of what it means to have a soul. We have to ability to quit watching all the negativity and create our own individual realities of positivity and compassion for all living things. The change in the world starts with changing yourself, nothing changes until we look within and decide we must change.
Art is our tool as conscious beings to show a way of light for the hopeless, to further stretch the boundaries of the average person's imagination, to create the impossible miracle in a situation that may seem like impending doom.
Throughout my journey I have learned that the most valuable thing there is not money or any wealth, but the impact that you have on others. Art for me has been about restoring value, balancing things, and an expression of the soul. Thank you all for checking out my page, it is very exciting to put together this experience for you all!"
